The Vision

On Park City's Main Street, the hardest line to hold is the one you can't move: a protected historic façade where a single exterior change passes through both Park City Building and the Historic Preservation board before a tool ever touches it.

The Roderick Approach

We managed that approval process end to end, working in a tight footprint against live downtown traffic, and brought the building current to modern code without losing the character that earns it a place on the street. Behind the preserved brick and timber, we opened the structure up and added residential space in the basement — every inch now carrying a modern rustic mountain hand.

The building now performs at roughly double its original appraised value.
